Spear Education Welcomes Dr. Julie Kwon to Resident Faculty

Dr. Kwon brings expertise in restorative dentistry, occlusion, and digital integration to Spear’s advanced education programs

Spear Education is pleased to announce that Dr. Julie Kwon has joined its esteemed Resident Faculty, bringing her extensive expertise in complex restorative treatments, joint-based occlusal management, and digital dentistry integration to the organization’s educational programs.

Dr. Kwon earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Temple University School of Dentistry and completed her residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, New York. In 2002, she co-founded a successful private practice with her husband in Walnut Creek, California, where she continues to provide high-quality care focusing on precision, esthetics, and advanced technology.

As a passionate advocate for continuing education, Dr. Kwon is dedicated to helping fellow dentists refine their clinical skills and incorporate modern digital advancements into their practices. At Spear, she will share her knowledge as an instructor for the Occlusion in Clinical Practice workshop, guiding participants in integrating occlusal concepts into patient care with confidence and clarity.

Dr. Kwon is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Contra Costa Dental Association. She also participates in dental implant and Invisalign study clubs.

When she is not practicing or teaching, Dr. Kwon enjoys spending time with her family and pursuing her interests in cosmetic dentistry and digital workflows.
