Florida Dental CE Requirements for Dentists
NetCE is an approved provider through the Florida Department of Health, Board of Dentistry, CE Broker Provider #50-2405.
NetCE will electronically report successful course completions to CE Broker.
Dentists are required 28 general hours every two years, all of which may be completed by home study. NetCE

Important notes on mandatory courses:
- The Department of Health, Division of Medical Quality Assurance, will now review your continuing education records in the electronic tracking system at the time of renewal. It will happen automatically when you renew your license, but it is important that you understand how this simple change will affect the way you renew your license in the future. FL
- If the practitioner’s continuing education records are complete, they will be able to renew their license without interruption.
- If the practitioner’s continuing education records are not complete, they will be prompted to enter their remaining continuing education hours before proceeding with their license renewal.
Who Qualifies as an Approved CE Provider
The provider offering the courses must be a CE Registered Provider licensed by the Board, or a provider approved by the American Dental Association’s Continuing Education Recognition Program (CERP) or the Academy of General Dentistry’s Program Approval for Continuing Education (PACE).
