New York Dental CE Requirements for Dentists
Attention New York Healthcare Professionals: Every person who has previously undergone mandated child abuse training must complete an updated curriculum that includes adverse childhood experiences and trauma, implicit bias, and the identification of child abuse in a virtual setting. Training must be completed by April 1, 2025. Please access NetCE’s approved updated training curriculum here.
The New York State Board for Dentistry accepts NetCE courses.
Dentists are required 60 hours every three years, 18 of which may be completed by self-instructional coursework. NetCE

Who Qualifies as an Approved CE Provider
The provider offering the courses must be a CE Registered Provider licensed by the Board, or a provider approved by the American Dental Association’s Continuing Education Recognition Program (CERP) or the Academy of General Dentistry’s Program Approval for Continuing Education (PACE).
