Yes! Spear Online gives you access to expert-led video courses that are CE-eligible. You can learn at your own pace — from anywhere — while earning credits that support your clinical and practice development.

Faculty Club offers advanced CE access and benefits for individual clinicians. Spear Study Club provides in-person, small-group learning with peers in your area. General

A local group of dental professionals who meet regularly to collaborate on real-world cases, follow a faculty-designed curriculum, and grow together in a supportive, interdisciplinary environment.

Specialists, general and restorative dentists, and lab technicians are welcome. With full support from Spear, you can join an existing club near you or start a new one.

Unlike informal clubs, Spear Study Clubs provide structured, faculty-designed meeting content, integrated CE opportunities, a powerful digital platform, and leadership resources — designed to help you grow as a clinician and a leader.

Lead a Club

You must be a licensed dentist with a passion for interdisciplinary care and at least five interested colleagues. Specialists and experienced general practitioners often serve as leaders.

Most leaders spend just a few hours each month preparing, with meetings held monthly or quarterly. Spear’s turnkey resources and advisor support keep your club efficient and impactful.

Join a Club

A Spear Study Club is a small group of general practitioners, specialists, and lab technicians who meet regularly to collaborate on real-world cases and grow at every stage of their careers.

Most clubs meet monthly, either in person or virtually. Each meeting centers on a curated, CE-eligible case discussion guided by Spear content designed to spark collaboration and strengthen treatment planning.

Yes! Members at every stage of their dental career benefit from connection and mentorship. Study clubs offer a safe space where questions are encouraged, diverse perspectives are shared, and growth is a collective goal.

General

Spear Online includes training in treatment planning, restorative dentistry, implants, occlusion, worn dentition, practice management, team development, and patient communication. It gives dentists and teams practical, case based learning they can use in everyday clinical situations.

In addition to the features listed above, membership includes other perks, such as a focused newsletter, and special discounts on other Spear offerings. See here for a breakdown of benefits.

Yes! Spear Talk is an open forum for clinicians and their team members to discuss any and all issues. Everyone is free to submit questions, offer comments, and provide advice.

Patient Education

Spear chairside animated videos turn complex clinical concepts into clear, visual explanations that patients can easily understand. When patients see what’s happening in their mouths and why treatment matters, they’re more likely to trust your recommendations and move forward with care.

Yes. Every team member — from the front office to hygienists and assistants — can use Spear chairside and lobby animated videos to deliver consistent, patient-friendly explanations throughout the entire visit. That consistency builds trust and reinforces your message at every touchpoint.

You can play videos in your lobby, embed them on your website, or send them directly to patients via text or email. Many practices also include them in appointment reminders and follow-ups to keep education going after the visit.

Faculty Club is Spear’s premier membership for dentists seeking measurable impact in their practice. With unlimited virtual learning, VIP recognition, and lasting connections, Faculty Club is the only membership that boosts your growth as a clinician, strengthens your team, and creates enduring improvements for your patients and practice.

Foundations is built for dentists in their first five years of practice who want structured, affordable CE to build confidence and clinical skills. It’s ideal for those balancing CE requirements, busy schedules, and student loans — especially if mentorship or clear growth paths are hard to find.

It’s also valuable for practice owners who want to onboard and develop new associates quickly and effectively.

Foundations is designed specifically for early-career dentists, offering a focused, step-by-step path to build real-world confidence. Unlike Spear Online or team-based programs, it delivers curated CE, faculty Q&A sessions, and peer community support — without the overwhelm or high cost.

Navigator offers a range of resources to enhance team communication, engagement, and performance, including in-person and virtual workshops, leadership training, and team-building exercises. The program is designed to foster a cohesive and motivated team, aligned with your practice goals, through continuous development and support.

Practices using Navigator have reported significant improvements in operational efficiency, team engagement, and patient care. By addressing key challenges and leveraging our comprehensive resources and coaching, practices can expect to see measurable growth and sustained success.

Spear helps dentists of any experience level — especially recent grads, who get access to select tools top clinicians use, from on-demand courses to study clubs, so you gain clarity and confidence at the beginning of your career.

We bridge the gap between school and practice with treatment planning frameworks, patient communication skills, and hands-on training that helps you think like a seasoned clinician.

You’ll gain mentorship, real-time feedback, exposure to complex cases, and a professional network that will give you a head start in your career.

Most CE focuses on single procedures. Spear gives you a comprehensive framework — from diagnosis to case acceptance — with real-world guidance you can use immediately.

Jumpstart is a hands-on, immersive workshop designed to quickly build confidence in techniques and skills. You leave with skills you can apply the next day and a roadmap for growth.

CE alone won’t move your career forward. Spear Online connects education with mentorship, structured pathways, and community so you actually implement what you learn — and see results in your practice

Unlike other programs, Spear integrates team development into your daily practice. A Navigator or a Spear membership aligns everyone around a unified system.

Spear simplifies team training with ready-to-use meeting content, on-demand education, role-specific training, and live events for team growth. Whether onboarding staff or building leaders, you can grow together.

Aligned teams communicate consistently, run more efficiently, and build stronger patient trust. That means less friction, more case acceptance, and a healthier practice.

We provide structured training, leadership development, and role-based programs that keep your team engaged and committed.

Yes! We start with your goals and create a personalized plan that includes online courses, workshops, and advisory support to solve your practice’s unique challenges.

Spear goes beyond CE. It’s an ecosystem — workshops, online learning, study clubs, and team training, all rooted in FGTP and led by world-class faculty. You don’t just learn; you grow with a community that helps you apply it.

We go beyond clinical training to support your practice as a whole. With FGTP resources, assessment reports, and team training, practices improve communication, boost case acceptance, and streamline systems.

Yes. From foundational courses like Treatment Planning With Confidence to advanced interdisciplinary workshops, Spear meets you where you are. With flexible formats, you can learn at your own pace and stay aligned with your goals.

We suggest business casual clothing at all Spear locations. (If you tend to get cold, consider bringing a light layer to slip on in air-conditioned conference rooms.)

We strive to provide a welcoming, inclusive experience for every attendee. Both our Scottsdale and Charlotte locations are ADA accessible and offer accommodations such as assistive listening devices and private lactation rooms.
