New Implant Study Club Module Released

Spear Education Study Club members learn critical implant skills for long-term success of the final restorative solution in this new module.

Spear Education recently released a new Study Club module called, “Immediate, Early, or Late Implant Placement: Exploring the SAC Classification” with Dr. Jack Goldberg.

As implant therapy has become the primary mode of replacing missing teeth, dentistry is constantly seeking ways to shorten the time from extraction to final implant-retained restoration. Understanding when to place the implant is critical to the long-term success of the final restorative solution. In this module, Dr. Goldberg analyzes four clear indications for treatment that can be used, depending on the clinical and radiographic pre-operative analysis.

In this new Study Club module, members will learn to:

  • Explore treatment indications for implant placement post-extraction in posterior single-tooth sites.
  • Evaluate primary and secondary objectives with implant therapy.
  • Review the advantages and disadvantages of immediate, early, and late implant placement.
  • Examine the factors to consider to make a wise and evidence-based clinical decision.
