New Study Club Module Released on Facially Generated Treatment Planning and Airway Anatomy

Spear Education recently released a new Study Club module called Slow Down, You Move Too Fast: The Impact of Ignoring FGTP Principles and Airway Anatomy with Dr. Jeff Rouse.

Dental education has traditionally focused on techniques and materials rather than idealizing tooth position. In this module, Dr. Rouse provides insight on how to slow down and use emergency situations as an opportunity to examine patients in more depth.

In this new Study Club module, members will learn to:

  • Understand the impact of facially generated treatment planning (FGTP) and airway on care.
  • Develop a strategy based on airway-aware and airway-directed planning.
  • Identify how the team can best coordinate emergency care.
  • Clarify the importance of planning before treating.

Spear Study Clubs are small groups of peers that meet online and in their community to collaborate on real-world cases, improve their clinical expertise and discuss growing practice profitability. Spear has the largest network of study clubs, with active clubs in more than 40 states and six countries.
