New Faculty + New Seminar: Dr. Farhad Boltchi Joins Spear

Leading periodontist joins Spear to teach new in-person seminar on preventing and correcting implant complications

Spear Education is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Farhad Boltchi to its Resident Faculty. A recognized leader in periodontics and implant dentistry, Dr. Boltchi brings more than three decades of clinical, academic, and continuing education experience to the Spear Campus.

In addition to his ongoing role as a faculty member for CDOCS, Dr. Boltchi will now also serve as an instructor for When Dental Implants Go Wrong: Prevention and Fixes, a new in-person, two-day seminar designed to help general dentists and specialists recognize implant complications early and manage them confidently. Drawing from his extensive experience in private practice and academia, Dr. Boltchi will guide clinicians through surgical and prosthetic risk factors, common causes of failure, and step-by-step corrective solutions.

Dr. Boltchi earned his DMD from the Medical University of Hanover in Germany and completed his certificate in periodontics and master’s degree in oral biology at Baylor College of Dentistry. He maintains a successful private practice in Arlington, Texas, and serves as a clinical assistant professor in Baylor’s graduate periodontics program.
