Spear Celebrates New Core Curriculum Alumni
Spear Education celebrates 32 dentists who completed the transformative core workshop curriculum in October, advancing their skills and patient care excellence.
Completing the Spear Core Curriculum represents more than a professional milestone — it’s a transformation in how dentists diagnose, plan, and deliver care. On Oct. 6, 32 clinicians from across North America joined a growing community of Spear-trained dental professionals who approach complex cases with confidence and precision.
After their final workshop, Advanced Treatment Planning, at Spear Campus in Scottsdale, Arizona, these clinicians were honored for their achievement at a special dinner at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess La Hacienda restaurant.
“When I took the first core curriculum workshop, it was kind of addicting,” said Dr. Avideh Daneshvar. “The most important workshop, in my opinion, is the occlusion workshop . We never had enough time in school to understand and go through occlusion in such detail.”
Spear’s Core Curriculum includes nine immersive Spear Workshops at Spear Campus and is designed to advance general practitioners’ treatment planning and restorative expertise. Participants earn 204.5 continuing education credits and enhance their skills in treatment planning and case presentation, tooth preparation techniques, occlusal principles, direct and indirect restoration, airway prosthodontics, and more.
Each three-day workshop builds on the previous one, equipping clinicians to deliver more predictable results, foster patient trust, and achieve clinical mastery that supports practice growth.
“It brings everything together, from airway to treatment planning, and by the end, you’re really confident in what you’re seeing and what you’re going to say to the patient,” said Dr. Chris Kaplan.
The journey to greater clinical confidence begins with the first workshop, Treatment Planning with Confidence, which lays the diagnostic and communication foundation for the rest of the pathway.
Discover how the core curriculum can help you transform your approach to comprehensive care — and join the next group of clinicians elevating dentistry together at Spear.
