Spear released a Study Club module focusing on treatment planning and coordinating an implant case.

In “Fees, Roles and Responsibilities in the Fixed Hybrid Case,” Dr. Steve Ratcliff will walk Study Club members through the case of a patient who has agreed to a treatment plan of a full upper denture and a lower fixed hybrid restoration on four implants. Study Club members will explore how critical it is to develop strong teamwork among the treating doctors and the laboratory technician in order to create a great result for patients.

Through this module, Study Club members will learn:

  • Creating a team system for treating fixed hybrid cases
  • Understanding the role of the lab, the surgeon and the restorative dentist
  • Understanding the traditional and global fee approaches to determining fees for the fixed hybrid case

Study Club members will be eligible for three continuing education credit hours for each module they complete.
