frank 3There are many factors that enter into the processes of treatment planning and case presentation. One factor that we don't often think about is the fact that dentists go through predictable stages in their development throughout the lifetime of a practice.

In our new course, Treatment Planning Evolution with Practice Evolution: Part I, Dr. Spear goes over the concept of the 'Four Stages of Practice' that was introduced to him in the 1980s by one of his mentors, Dr. Ralph O'Connor. This concept focuses on the areas: Survival, Growth, Profit and Transition and how the apply to yevolution of a dentist's career.

This course aims to help the practitioner identify with two of the common phases in the life of a dental practice – survival and growth – and appreciate how they impact treatment planning and case presentation.
