Spear Education recently announced the addition of Dr. Ricardo Mitrani to its roster of highly-skilled faculty members.
“We are excited to have Ricardo join our team of expert faculty members,” said Spear Education’s founder, Frank Spear. “We have long respected his work in prosthodontics and his lectures on treatment planning. His addition further establishes Spear as the leading provider of dental continuing education.”
Mitrani attended the University of Washington for a certificate in prosthodontics as well as a Master of Science in Dentistry. While studying there, Mitrani met and was mentored by Dr. Spear along with classmate, and current Spear faculty member, Dr. Gregg Kinzer.
“For me, the biggest name in advanced dental education – the role model, a true icon – is Frank Spear,” said Mitrani, who has a practice in Mexico City. “Being invited to be a part of what he and the other faculty members are doing is like a dream come true.”
Mitrani said he admires Spear’s dedication to exploring new avenues of education and communication. Platforms such as the online campus and newly released Spear Patient Education platform are improving the quality of dentistry, he added.
Moreover, Mitrani said he foresees Spear’s embrace of innovative techniques and technology as having a global impact.
“I am ready to work with the Spear team to deliver complex information in a way that can be utilized immediately,” Mitrani said. “But really I am just humbled by the opportunity to contribute my two cents toward strengthening an already incredible dental continuing education program.”
