CBCT is probably the most valuable tool for the restorative dentist who is engaging in implant assisted or supported restorations. By viewing volumized images we can pre-plan cases with greater levels of certainty and fewer surprises.

Consider this panoramic film; would you be able to visualize the ridge that was exposed at the time of surgery?

We were able to anticipate the challenges and plan for them before my surgeon picked up a scalpel. The ridge was severely undercut and the CAD/CAM software allowed us to design and have fabricated a surgical for both bone reduction and implant placement.

The result was a smoother surgery, not being surprised by the ridge shape and precise implant placement.
