Dr. Ratcliff is Spear's Executive Vice President of Business Development, a role in which he helps specialists and their restorative colleagues embrace the gifts and challenges of interdisciplinary care. His primary responsibilities are working with business partners to widen the reach of the Spear learning community and creating content for study club modules and Spear Online.

Dr. Ratcliff has practiced general dentistry for 41 years, and for the past 25 years he has focused his work on comprehensive adult restorative care and is regarded as one of the premier clinicians in the U.S. He has lectured internationally on interdisciplinary care, esthetics, implant and restorative dentistry and optimizing the patient experience.

The former chairman of education at The Pankey Institute, Dr. Ratcliff is passionate about helping dentists reach their preferred future. He is committed to working with Spear faculty to create the most effective learning possible for study clubs and Spear Online.

Dr. Ratcliff is a member of the Arizona State Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry and American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics and holds fellowships in the American College of Dentists, the Academy of General Dentistry and the International Team for Implantology.

Dr. Ratcliff earned his D.D.S. from Case Western Reserve University in 1978 and an M.S. degree in adult education at the University of Wyoming in 2008.
