  • Doctor of Dental Surgery, Doctor of Medicine, and specialty certificate in oral and maxillofacial surgery, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Dentistry

After graduating, Dr. Gunson partnered with Dr. G. William Arnett in Santa Barbara, California, to open a now world-renowned surgical practice limited to facial esthetics and reconstruction.

Additionally, Dr. Gunson lectures internationally and publishes research on orthognathic surgery, facial esthetics, obstructive sleep apnea and the treatment of TMJ arthritis and condylar resorption.

As a valued Spear Resident Faculty member, Dr. Gunson teaches the “Interdisciplinary Treatment of Esthetic Dilemmas” seminar.
