As a practice management consultant, periodontal clinical educator and university faculty member, Ms. Marks has developed curriculum, authored journal articles and conducted seminars at dental schools, dental hygiene programs, major dental meetings, study clubs and faculty in-service programs. As a clinician, her experience is with both general and periodontal practices.

Ms. Marks co-authored the “Building the Ideal Practice” continuum and presented on the topic at the Spear Campus with Imtiaz Manji and Dr. Gordon Christensen. Her professional background also includes serving as a faculty member, advisor and alumni director at Pennsylvania State University. She administered the annual Statewide Allied Health Occupations Education Conference and the Nurse Aide Teaching the Educator program for the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

Ms. Marks also serves as a consultant on training needs assessment and curriculum development. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Penn State and a dental hygiene degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
