Dr. Steve Ratcliff joins Spear Education
It is a special pleasure for me to announce that Steve Ratcliff, DDS, MS has become one of the newest team members at Spear Education. He stepped into the position of Executive Vice President for Specialty Education in March 2009.
Steve completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Wyoming, proceeding to dental school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. He later earned an MS in Adult Education, also from the University of Wyoming. Prior to his arrival at Spear Education, he served as Chairman of Education at The Pankey Institute. He has maintained a private, general restorative practice for 30 years in addition to his teaching. He lectures internationally on interdisciplinary care, occlusion, esthetic and restorative dentistry, and is well known for his workshops on the philosophy of life and dental practice.
Steve is an engaging, down-to-earth speaker who is passionate about helping dentists reach their preferred future. He is an experienced facilitator of small study groups, using a combination of clinical examples, interactive discussion and a passion for the use of photography in clinical and interdisciplinary dentistry to help participants return to their practices with practical skills of patient engagement.
Steve is a tremendous addition to the Spear Education team for what he brings both as a clinician and an educator. I know he’ll be a major contributor to our ever evolving and always improving Spear curriculum. Welcome, Steve, we’re all glad you’re here.
